Stephen Merriman is an experienced piano technician, providing quality craftsmanship to pianos in the Michiana area. He has over twenty five years experience, and provides services to homes, churches, schools, universities, businesses, and extended care facilities. Stephen received his education and training in New York and Colorado. Music is a core in Stephen’s life, whether it be performing, or nurturing its existence. It is vital to allow the opportunity for music to be alive in our homes and community. Having a good-sounding piano in your home or facility is a vehicle for creating these experiences.
Stephen approaches each piano individually to maximize its quality of sound and longevity. Regular tuning and maintenance is essential for enhancing the performance of each piano. Generally, most pianos require tuning every six months; however, the quality of the piano, its home environment, and its playing history determine its needs.
