Chad Mcullough and Bram Weijters Quartet coming to Merrimans' Playhouse

The Artists

Chad McCullough on trumpet, will be bringing his band from Belgium to perform at Merrimans' Playhouse during their U.S. Tour! For the last six years Chad McCullough and Bram Weijters has forged a musical bond that has spanned across the globe. They have released three records internationally to great critical acclaim, and performed at festivals in the US, Russia, and Europe. This November, they celebrate their latest offering, Abstract Quantites, with a tour in the Midwest for the first time. Filling out the quartet is Belgian bassist Piet Verbist, and Origin Records CEO and founder John Bishop on drums.

"This bunch knows the inside out of sitting down jazz and how to play it in the highest dimension. Tasty, well woven playing that just won't let you down." -Midwest Record

"Yet another solid, absorbing album, in what's becoming a regular thing for this quartet. This qualifies as their best so far." -Dave Sumner, Bird is the Worm

"With three recordings under their belts, and the music evolving in its beauty, mystery and originality, the Chad McCullough/Bram Weijters group is pushing into that classic territory." - Allaboutjazz.com
