The Artists

 

Luke Polipnick
Guitar.

Luke Polipnick is a guitarist and composer based in Omaha, NE. He leads his bands Wailing Ships, Deconunisms, Type Type, and Knife Stunts, and maintains a busy performance schedule all around the US. He led the critically-acclaimed Minneapolis avant jazz trio Volcano Insurance throughout the 2000s, and has worked with Grammy-nominee Dave King of the Bad Plus, guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque of Garaj Mahal, and bassist Anthony Cox's Regional Jazz Trio.

John Christensen
Bass.

John Christensen moved to the Midwest in 1999 from San Francisco where he enjoyed stunts with Scott Amendola, Jenny Scheinman, and Mark Levine, as well as his own trio Dam East. Since moving to Wisconsin John can be found playing with Alison Margaret jazz quartet, Kyle Henderson, his own band The Landscapers, as well as numerous projects around Madison.

Devin Drobka
Drums.

Devin Drobka is a Milwaukee, WI native now living in Brooklyn, NY. He is busying playing in Sons of Daughters, Sweet Talk and several other bands in NY and the Midwest. He is also an in-demand sideman, having performed extensively with saxophone icon Jerry Bergonzi while still a student at Berklee.
