Goran Ivanovic Trio features guitarist and composer Goran Ivanovic, bassist Matt Ulery and drummer Pete Tashjian. The power trio's debut album is laced with sing-able melodies, rich harmonies and complex rhythms. In the song "Querido Paco," Ivanovic pays tribute to lifelong influence, legendary Flamenco guitarist, the late Paco De Lucia. The Lively composition "Tic Tac Toe" is an audience favorite, with nearly 7 minutes of acrobatics on guitar it takes you through Hard Rock riffs, Flamenco rhythms and classical harmonic development. "Maurice's Ragtime" features dear friend and soulful Cellist Ian Maksin. The track features a slow ragtime feel with impressionistic harmonies reflective of French Composer Maurice Ravel. Fresh off a successful European tour (headlining shows and supporting Grammy winning collective Snarky Puppy) the Goran Ivanovic Trio invites you to celebrate the release of their debut album. Ivanovic's unique and rarely found talents set you forth on a cinematic array of emotions, sophisticated, yet rebellious, the acoustic ensemble nods its head towards tradition while disregarding technical conventions. The trio experiment's in the melding of Classical, Rock, Jazz and various styles of traditional folk music, to create a sound all their own.
